Thank You for Raising Your Voice: Railyard Project Update
We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone in our Church of the Mountains community who showed up, shared feedback, attended meetings, submitted comments, and helped make our voice heard throughout the Railyard Hotel Project process. Your engagement mattered. Because of the thoughtful and respectful input from our congregation and neighbors, the development team has agreed to several important commitments intended to better support and protect the church campus and surrounding community. These include: • Collaboration with the church on the design and implementation of a 4-6-foot perimeter fence to help preserve the character and function of our space While this process is not complete, these commitments reflect meaningful progress and demonstrate the impact of community participation. Thank you for caring deeply about the future of our church, our neighborhood, and the role Church of the Mountains continues to play in the heart of Truckee. We are grateful for your advocacy, your presence, and your partnership as we continue to stay engaged and informed together. |

The Women’s Bible Study group and Prayer NetJoin us every Monday 10-11am at Church of the Mountains (weather and road conditions permitting) Judy Jensen, the group leader welcomes everyone to participate. We read and discuss the books we have chosen in an informal discussion and look forward to spending time and sharing our faith with one another. We pray as an introduction to our study—and we close with prayer. Our group are also members of the Prayer Net and welcome requests that come to us through the larger church body. Any questions? Church Giving is Easy
At Church of the Mountains, our ministry is made possible through the generous support of our community. Your gifts help sustain meaningful worship, inspiring music, outreach to our neighbors, and a welcoming space where all are invited to gather, reflect, and grow. Every contribution—large or small—supports the life of our church: from caring ministries and community events to maintaining our historic sanctuary and creating opportunities for connection and spiritual renewal. Together, we are nurturing a place of hope, beauty, and belonging in the heart of our mountain community. Thank you for supporting the ministry of Church of the Mountains and for being part of all that God is doing here. We are deeply grateful for your faithfulness and generosity.
