Fall-ing Into The Garden ~ Nurturing Next Season’s Beauty

Fall-ing Into The Garden ~ Nurturing Next Season’s Beauty

As the autumn air crispens and our mountain landscape shifts, Kathleen has been hard at work in the garden, preparing the garden beds for the months ahead.

While it will soon rest beneath a blanket of winter snow, the quiet effort going into the soil today ensures our little garden will burst with color, warmth, and fresh life come springtime. We are grateful for Kathleen's hands-on care, vision, and dedication to keeping our campus beautiful for every season to come!

Finishing Touches at Sipes Parsonage

Finishing Touches at Sipes Parsonage

As autumn arrives and mountain snow is right around the corner, a huge thank you goes out to John Zemaitis and Gordon Shaw for their hard work at Sipes Parsonage!

Thanks to their Volunteer efforts, the Parsonage is now equipped with a brand-new coat rack and boot storage area—just in time to handle winter gear and snowy boots.

We are so grateful for their time, skill, and dedication!

Wishing You Safe & Gentle Travels

As the seasons change and many of our Church of the Mountains family head south for warmer weather, we want to bless you in your return to your second homes!

While we will miss your presence, warm smiles, and fellowship in the sanctuary this winter, you remain close in our thoughts and prayers. Enjoy the sunshine, stay safe, and know that your church family will be eagerly awaiting your return when the snow melts.

We can’t wait to welcome you back with open arms come spring!

Church Giving Made Simple

Church Giving Made Simple

At Church of the Mountains, your financial support does so much more than keep our historic doors open—it fuels our shared mission to cultivate hope, beauty, and belonging in Truckee. When you give, you become an active partner in everything God is doing through our mountain community.

The Impact of Your Generosity

Vibrant Worship & Music: Supports meaningful Sunday services, acoustic Alpenglow gatherings, and spiritual programs that refresh the soul.

Community & Outreach: Enables caring ministries, local neighbor outreach, and welcoming spaces for connection and reflection.

A Spiritual Home: Helps maintain our historic sanctuary as a beacon of warmth and peace for members and visitors alike.

Tithing is a practice of gratitude and trust—a way to reflect God’s generosity in our own lives while investing in a thriving, compassionate community. Every gift, regardless of size, makes a lasting difference.

Thank you for your faithfulness, your generosity, and your commitment to nurturing faith and fellowship in the heart of the mountains.
