Grow Our Mission as the Heart of Truckee: Join the Growing Together Campaign
Our church has always grown through the care and commitment of this community. Today, we invite you to be part of that tradition through our Growing Together Campaign, an effort to complete the renovation of the historic Sipes Parsonage. Located next to our church, the Sipes Parsonage has long been part of our campus and our story. The next phase of the renovation focuses on the exterior of the home, including new windows, updated siding, improvements to the back deck, and added insulation to protect and preserve the building for years to come. To help make this possible, we are looking for donors who feel called to support the project by giving a one-time gift of any amount or $100 per month for one year. These steady gifts will help us complete this important work and ensure the parsonage continues to serve our church and the Truckee community. Click on the button below to donate or visit our website. You can also send a check to Kathleen Zemaitis, Finance Chair, Church of the Mountains, PO Box 1209, Truckee CA 96160 or contact Kathleen at kathleen.zemaitis@gmail.com. (Church of the Mountains is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our Tax ID number is 94-2557398.) The Growing Together Campaign is about more than restoring a building — it’s about growing our community and investing in the future of our church at the heart of Truckee. We are grateful for your support as we work together to complete this meaningful project and grow together!

Next Alpenglow Evening Service - Sunday, March 15
As the sun dips behind the mountains and the sky softens into hues of gold and rose, we invite you to join us for our next Alpenglow Evening Service on Sunday, March 15. This peaceful, contemplative gathering is designed as a moment to pause, breathe, and gently prepare your heart for the week ahead. Inspired by the beauty of alpenglow—the warm, radiant light that graces the peaks at day’s end—this service offers a sacred space for reflection, stillness, and renewal. Whether you’ve spent your day on the slopes, the trails, or simply moving through a full weekend, come as you are and settle into a tranquil, welcoming atmosphere. Through quiet prayer, meaningful words, and calming music, we’ll share in a time that grounds and reconnects us. Alpenglow Service - Sunday, March 15 All are welcome. Bring a friend, or come in quiet solitude—there is space for you here. We look forward to being together in this gentle close to the day. |

Church Giving is Easy
At Church of the Mountains, our ministry is made possible through the generous support of our community. Your gifts help sustain meaningful worship, inspiring music, outreach to our neighbors, and a welcoming space where all are invited to gather, reflect, and grow. Every contribution—large or small—supports the life of our church: from caring ministries and community events to maintaining our historic sanctuary and creating opportunities for connection and spiritual renewal. Together, we are nurturing a place of hope, beauty, and belonging in the heart of our mountain community. Thank you for supporting the ministry of Church of the Mountains and for being part of all that God is doing here. We are deeply grateful for your faithfulness and generosity.
