Exciting things are happening at the Sipes Parsonage! Huge thanks to all our amazing volunteers for your time, talent, and heart — we couldn’t do this without you.

Foundation: The last section of the foundation (front of the house) was delayed due to high demand for cement but is now set for next week.

Demo & Prep: Demo is done! The house is ready for its fresh new start.

Floors: All the old flooring layers are out — and new carpet and vinyl are on the way! Carpet install is tentatively set for November 10.

Bedrooms: The new wall and closet between the two main bedrooms are taking shape!

Painting: We've started to paint inside to bring a fresh look starting with the ceilings!

Appliances & Cabinets: Our shiny new (and donated!) appliances have arrived, and cabinets and flooring are rolling in. Materials will be stored in the Fellowship Hall as work continues through November.

Stay tuned for more updates as we get the home ready to welcome Pastor Rebecca, Hank, and Sophie — just in time for Thanksgiving!

We’re getting closer to making the Sipes Parsonage move-in ready for Pastor Rebecca, Hank and Sophie by Thanksgiving, and there are several ways you can lend a hand!

Volunteer to Paint on November 15
We are recruting volunteers to paint the final walls of the Sipes Parsonage on Saturday November 15, 9am-2pm . If you’d like to volunteer, please email Lisa McCready at lisakmccready@gmail.com.

Donate Ace Hardware Coupons
If you receive Ace Hardware coupons in the mail or newspaper, please bring them to church on Sunday and place them in the offering plate. We’ll use them toward purchasing paint and building materials for the renovation.

Your time, energy, and donations make all the difference as we bring this special home back to life for Pastor Rebecca and Hank!

As we continue the Sipes Parsonage renovation project, we’ll be temporarily storing appliances and building materials in the Fellowship Hall throughout November.

Please use extra care when moving through the area — and thank you for your patience and understanding as we make space for this exciting project!

We can’t wait to see the finished home come together — and we’re so grateful for everyone’s help and flexibility along the way.

Judy Jensen, the group leader welcomes everyone to participate. 

We read and discuss the books we have chosen in an informal discussion and look forward to spending time and sharing our faith with one another. We pray as an introduction to our study—and we close with prayer.

Our group are also members of the Prayer Net and welcome requests that come to us through the larger church body.

We are looking for gifted musicians to help lead worship and create joyful Sunday mornings—and we’d love your help getting the word out!

We are building a small worship band and are seeking keyboardists, guitarists, and singers with strong people skills who enjoy collaborating. Our music spans contemporary Christian, jazz, gospel, blues, folk, and bluegrass. A piano, keyboard, and full sound system are available, along with a library of curated hymn and contemporary Christian scores and slides.

These are paid positions with flexible, negotiable rates.
