Special Prayer Zoom Meeting this Sunday Evening Feb 1, 6:30pm: Gathering of Hearts for MinnesotaFriends in Christ,
If you are like me, you have been carrying around a heavy heart the past few weeks for our brothers and sisters in the Twin Cities and the state of Minnesota. It’s hard to know what to think but we know what we feel and I am sensing in myself the need to connect with other followers of Jesus to share the faith and strength and hope that will see us through this dark time. I am sending out a Zoom link for anyone who would like to gather on Sunday evening for prayer and reflection and mutual support and encouragement as we try to determine our own responses to the hurt that our country is experiencing. Please join me at 6:30 on Sunday evening and/or send this link to anyone who might benefit from spending some time with kindred souls and compassionate conversation.

Next Evening Service: Sunday, February 15, 5:00pmWe are so grateful to share some wonderful news! Our very first evening service was a great success with our launch group. It was a peaceful, meaningful time of worship, reflection, and connection and we're thankful for everyone who came and helped get this started. Because of that strong beginning, were excited to officially launch our Evening Service Series on Sunday, February 15. Going forward, this service will be held on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month. (NOTE: We will NOT be meeting on February 1st due to scheduling conflicts) We invite you to mark your calendars and join us February 15 for this reflective, contemplative service, created as a space to slow down, breathe, and connect with God and one another in a quieter, more intentional way. SUNDAY EVENING FIRST QUARTER SCHEDULE:
5:00 - 5:30 pm 5:30 - 6:30 pm To those who joined us for the very first service, thank you! Your presence, openness, and encouragement helped lay the foundation for what's to come. We cant wait to gather again and welcome more of you into this special time together. |

Help Us Spread the Word—Musicians Wanted!We are looking for gifted musicians to help lead worship and create joyful Sunday mornings—and we’d love your help getting the word out! We are building a small worship band and are seeking keyboardists, guitarists, and singers with strong people skills who enjoy collaborating. Our music spans contemporary Christian, jazz, gospel, blues, folk, and bluegrass. A piano, keyboard, and full sound system are available, along with a library of curated hymn and contemporary Christian scores and slides. These are paid positions with flexible, negotiable rates. |

The Women’s Bible Study group and Prayer NetJudy Jensen, the group leader welcomes everyone to participate. We read and discuss the books we have chosen in an informal discussion and look forward to spending time and sharing our faith with one another. We pray as an introduction to our study—and we close with prayer. Our group are also members of the Prayer Net and welcome requests that come to us through the larger church body. Any questions?
